I was considering reading the (thick) manual but then I got a new computerized sewing machine for Christmas so now I have another distraction to "learn by doing." I figure when I'm old and infirm I'll pull out my giant box of manuals. And burn them. Everything is obsolete in 9 mos anyway. Whenever you talk ravens I think about my very first encounter with them, when I was 19 and visiting the Tower of London. There are some very large, fine (pinioned, lest the English Empire fall) residing there. Doesn't cream cheese clog their little arteries? Oh, we must be in the same place with our cameras.
