For more on our Spring Break journey, visit The Journey is the Thing, our blog about our FMC motorcoach! We’re off to San Diego for a few days of total fun and relaxation. We’re hitting Legoland, Seaworld, and the San Diego Zoo. We’re visiting friends and family. We’re going to relax and sip cocktails and kick back without worrying about anything — not grades, not demanding clients, not unrealistic deadlines, not never-ending piles on our desks, not homework, not anything! Just good, solid, quality family time!

Excellent! I was just over on twitter and now I’ve answered my own question. We have a motorhome and, depsite the price of gas, we’ve had some of our very best times in it. Packing up is a real scene- I cook meals in advance, pack cozy bedding and pajamas, books, CDs. It’s a blast. I just know you’ll have a great time. And Legoland! I want to go!

Thanks, Vicki. We’re so looking forward to it. We realized it’s been about 6 mos since our last trip. Last year we did a trip almost every month. We need to get more trips in this year. This is going to be a good one! As for me, I’m looking forward to the first martini in the motorhome. Then I’ll know we’re on vacation!
