If it’s okay, I’d like to briefly mention my books. For the next 3 days, I am allowing Kindle owners to download my novel Rogue Hunter for only 99 cents (reg. 3.99). Sale ends Monday. I also have a young adult fantasy book called The Legend of Witch Bane that is temporarily priced at $1.99. I’ll likely raise the price on that one back to $5.99 by the end of the week.

Good freebie and great cheapie — I found two books that I really enjoyed on the Kindle for awesome prices. The first one was Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb which is now available for free. The second was Luthiel’s Song which I absolutely loved for .99 cents. Luthiel’s Song was also one of the best formatted Kindle books I’ve seen.

Greg will be putting it on his, too. He was already asking about borrowing my Kindle . . . now he can just use his own mini-screen-version.

I did read a book on the iPhone before I bought the Kindle. It was totally doable but not ideal.

Hey, thanks for the plug. I do tend to focus on free or bargain Kindle books (because I prefer to read that way), but also will comment on those that are easily converted and sometimes just those that are free in other formats (since I can read some of those on my iphone, I save them for when I don’t have the Kindle around). Today’s book is a penny, not free, and also comes with it’s own mystery. I’ve only read the first few pages, but it seems like it will be a solid one.

I just downloaded the iPhone kindle. I prefer a larger screen, but the idea that I’ll never again be stuck in an airport with nothing to read is worth a small screen.

OK, so this the neophyte I am… I thought you HAD to download from Amazon only? I had no clue you can download from other sources and convert the document. HUH! Well, now! :c)

I have seen the free download offers from Amazon and have already loaded a few that were being offered.
