I’m just so glad you didn’t have to evacuate. And interesting enough, I really didn’t notice the smoke much at all this time. But I have a colleague in Salinas and she mentioned that everything there was smoky and sooty. I would imagine you experienced that, too.
There was a great article in the Sentinel the other day about the three mountain lion cubs in the Swanton area of the fire. The two collared babies were transmitting signals, and the biologists assumed that the third survived as well, as it had already lost its collar. Such great news.
