    Thank you all for your love and support! Of course, each day feels different and the news seems to change daily. We’ll see.

    And, as for Ruby, she’s been showing her smart side! There is a skunk that comes each evening to nosh under our feeder (well, with all the squirrel debris) and Ruby is smarter than the average Labrador. You’d think a vermin-hunting-dog would be right in there but she’s not . . . she barks and lets us know about it but keeps her distance. Good girl! So far, the skunk does NOT like a flashlight in the eyes and leaves but oh joy another skunk in the yard. Sigh. Nature abounds, doesn’t it?
