Take me out to the ballgame!

A Day at the Giants

Let me start off by saying . . . right up front . . . that we are not a baseball family.  We don’t watch the game.  We never played the game growing up.  My kids don’t know how you score a point in baseball.  That said, we had a fantastic time at the ballgame.  One of the companies that Greg does work for takes everyone to the baseball game every year.  It is so much fun!  We meet at their offices and have a BBQ first.  Then we all head up to San Francisco and go to the amazing AT&T Park.  In years past, we’ve sat in the bleachers but this year they got us seats behind home plate.  We were up very high but could still see everything great.  The view is amazing.  The park sits on the bay and the views are amazing.  Barry Bonds was two homers away from his record so everyone was hopeful that he would hit a homer.  No such luck although we did see him hit a double which was nice.  The Giants beat the Braves rather convincingly 4-2.   So, totally fun baseball outing for a non-baseball family.

Wonderful views and even better grins! It is fun to go to the ballpark. We don’t really watch it either, but just being there in person is like an amusement park visit as there is so much going on. Glad you all had such a great time!

Damn, that looks like fun. The people-watching opportunities alone would be worth it.

You are not alone, Liza. I’m not a baseball fan but being at the game is a treat! Baseball on TV puts me into dreamland.
