Fall fell

With cold breezes and wet air, fall arrived yesterday. I am at once eager to pull out sweaters and corduroy pants and still longing for the lingering heat of summer.

My favorite times of year, here in Boulder Creek, is Spring and Fall. The weather is perfect — cool nights, warm but not hot days. Things change at these times of year — trees change their clothes, new flowers appear, birds migrate to and fro. I love these seasons.

So, it’s cool here and this Raven was all fluffed up (not that you can tell in my terrible picture — but I had to take it fast before the guy behind me honked!) against the cold.

Fall is a great time of year.

Fall is a welcome relief and officially starts tomorrow! We’ll be having warm days (not hot) and very chilly nights for the next few months. We have winter in January and February, then March is the warming up month.

I love fall, too! I love bundling up in sweatshirts and sweaters and corduroys and fuzzy socks!

Still waiting for the fall here. Still in the high 80’s for now. I love the relief of fall too… that, and everything just slowing down for a bit.
