Crafty Saturday

So, I spent today with the most important women in my life. For a full report, go to my new blog (we decided we needed our own voice on the Web) {click}.

My 4th Button Wreath - in progress

Button Wreaths, as it turns out, are amazingly fun and easy to make.  A whole lot of buttons, a bunch of hot melt glue, some gorgeous ribbon and you are all set.  I made 2 Christmas gifts and a couple for my own house!  Can’t complain there, eh?

Ooh! I really like that colorful one, Liza Lee – very striking. But I really don’t want to think about Christmas decorating yet — time is flying much too quickly! ;o)

Button wreaths! What a very cool idea and how pretty. I know it isn’t hard, but where did you find the directions? I might make one for my Mom’s sewing room.

Button Wreaths in the right colors can be up year round — not just for Christmas! 🙂 The directions are really simple. I’ll post them on our Crafty Chix site. We didn’t really use directions — we just played with them from pictures we’d seen on various sites ==particularly Flickr

Way cool! I think I see one in my mother’s future. Thanks for the idea.

Wow! What a great idea. They are pretty and make a great Christmas gift – and would look good on one of my trees. I admire crafty people.
