Ruby Tuesday

Curled-up pup

Poor Ruby.  As with most animals, her eyes glow like mad.  I use iPhoto on my Mac for photo storage, organization, and processing.  But I store them online with Flickr.  Flickr has teamed up with a photo editing software company and you can edit online.  It’s fantastic.  Their “Red Eye” feature takes care of animal eyes too.  Well, mostly.  It did a great job with Ruby’s right eye but the left eye . . . not so much.  So, she’s only half freakishly scary.  Oh, the software lets you add text to your pictures too — cute, huh?

I tried to take this picture for half an hour.  She was curled up on the back of the couch where the heat from the fireplace was hitting her just right.  Every time I picked up my camera, she’d “wake up” and run over to see what I was doing.  Sigh.  I finally got her but I did it with flash because I didn’t want to risk blur and missing this cute picture.   So, just pretend that one eye doesn’t look odd, okay?  Thanks!

She is a busy-body, isn’t she? That’s a great photo, wild eye and all.

Happy Ruby Tuesday! She’s still a sweetie, even with the eyeball!

Oooh, love the new layout. Magnolias??

Sweet Ruby, she’s darling even if she has zombie eye. (and Sophie suffers from the same beady eye.)
