Ruby Tuesday – The Temper-Temper Edition

8 Apr

While it is quite true that we made a huge mistake — a faux pas of the highest order, I don’t think we deserved punishment. You see, every Sunday night, we go and have dinner with Greg’s mother — usually his sister and her family are there as well. It’s a big deal for all of us. Last night, in a fit of frantic getting ready, we forgot to bring Ruby. So, sure, we were in trouble with Ruby and with Gramma.

But did I deserve to come home and find my crochet project un-crocheted? Did I deserve to find my living room rug with a new stain on it — a slightly smelly stain? Did I deserve to find trash from the trash can strewn about the backyard? I suppose I should have been grateful that she took it out the dog door before doing the strewing?

She’s a naughty little dogger but we love her so much. I really needed to redo that crochet work anyway — it wasn’t quite right!

    Dear Ruby,

Teeth are for FOOD, not for crochet.
