We’ve had a long absence from Ruby Tuesday but Ruby is alive and well and doing all her regular wonderful things. Gage took the picture above when his friend brought a laser pointer to the house. Ruby chased it like crazy — can you see the red dot near her paw? And, don’t worry, the kids were very, very careful about the laser. These are two very careful boys.

Hours of fun with those gadgets (and much better than me following one through yet another powerpoint presentation!)
Oh–it’s not nice to trick Ruby!
In our house, the cats love to chase the laser lights. One cat kept coming in the bedroom EVERY evening, meowing to chase the light.
I haven’t tried it on our dog.
What fun for Ruby! I laughed when I remembered my neighbor’s Westie who was so obsessed with the pointer that he spent his waking hours looking for the dot… :o)
