Ruby was inspired by Aretha Franklin’s sartorial spleandor. She is now never seen without her “Aretha” hat. It’s lovely and seems to inspire great fear in the local squirrel population.

Ha! I downloaded that transparent GIF Tuesday afternoon, and it’s still sitting lonely on my desktop. Too bad I don’t have a dog. She must be the most patient little doggie ever!
That Ruby is SUCH a fashion pup! ;c)
I am reading this blog very surreptiously for fear MY DOG will see Ruby and want her own hat.
Oh, and the real question to Ruby is–can you sing?
That is too funny, Liza. I don’t think our kitty cat would wear the hat, but he loves singing “my country tis of thee…” His country is the backyard, but he does belt out a tune for it.
She looks so pretty!
such a cuttie! 🙂
As avid readers of this blog well know, Ruby would no more sit quietly and wear a hat than she’d give up chasing squirrels. No, this is pure Photoshop! Too much fun though!
