Thursday, my daughter finished her elementary school career. If I may be allowed a moment of indulgence, she was on Honor Roll every trimester during 4th and 5th grades (when we give letter grades at our school). She is a well-rounded, well-liked, sweet, creative, loving girl. I couldn’t be prouder of her.
Especially since I can still remember where she started back in Mrs. Bruce’s kindergarten class. Such a sweet, quirky little munchkin.
My heart bursts with pride!
And, now . . . middle school. Bring it on!
Congratulations to you both. She looks like a fun and adventurous young woman. Enjoy every moment–it all goes far too quickly.
How wonderful for her! She must be thrilled to have achieved this milestone. What a transitional summer this will be and very exciting.
Congratulations to Ruth! She looks like a wonderful person! And what a sweet kindergarten photo!
My, it just does not seem possible. Your pumpkin in middle school? Seeing that kindergarten photo is so sweet. Congrats to Ruth!
She’s lovely in the top photo- looks like the perfect stage between little girl and more grown up. Such a bright smile, too.
