Storm Report – Tuesday Morning

19 Jan

Here’s a look at Boulder Creek at 7:44 this morning. We’ve had thunder, lightning, hail, and lots and lots of rain. Trees are down all over the county, most of the counties power is out. Ours is off and on.

Here’s a look at the three trees. We’ve certainly seen it get a lot higher but I’ll keep an eye on it all day. It’s wild here, today, folks!

Wow, that’s a lot of water!

Yup. About 2.5 in in the last 24 hours. It’s an exciting one.

    Stay safe and dry.
How does Ruby handle thunder? Our dog goes nuts–she is terrified of it. If she could crawl under the wall to wall carpet she would.

Ruby is unimpressed by the thunder, thank goodness. As is my mom’s dog. Well, he barks a little — but he barks when Gage makes loud noises or teenagers walk by the house. He’s grumpy.

Wow, Liza! I’m thinking about you guys there in CA – hope this storm system goes away soon!

Thanks, Pam! We had a pretty good day today. Never REALLY stopped raining but it stopped raining hard. Of course, it’s nearly 3pm and looks like dusk right now. Something (the loud thunder claps, perhaps) tells me we’re starting up again.
