Turkey Vultures doing what they do best

13 Feb

We went on an amazing drive today — down the coast through Big Sur and then we cut across at Nacimiento-Ferguson Road. This road goes from Hwy 1 to 101 through Fort Hunter-Ligget which is an army training center. I was looking at a sign that said “Do Not Enter – Live Fire Area.” Greg noticed these guys. He even turned around and went back so that I could get pictures. What a guy!

And, what a group! Click on the picture . . . there are others on Flickr. I know it’s graphic and gruesome but they are vultures, after all!
