The rest stop at Dismal Nitch Oregon (that is seriously what it’s called, peeps!) is the nicest rest stop I’ve ever stopped at. I’m not sure who stocks the flowers here but I do thank them!

Place names in Oregon always crack me up. My favorite is “drain”. Can you imagine? Lovely flowers and what a nice surprise. Hardly dismal at all!
It is pretty funny, Wende. This one is named because the Lewis and Clark expedition spent a miserable couple of weeks in an Oregon storm there . . . I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the history and the beauty of it now.
