Quiet

5:30am.
The quiet is huge.
The fireplace fan blows heat briefly into the room.
Outside, raccoons are banging in the garbage cans.
Their morning is quite different from mine.

      Thanks, Laura. Sometimes as a teacher, quiet is a little bit too ellusive!
