Someone thought it would be a good idea to hang out and hunt very close to a swallow’s nest.
The swallows disagreed.
(I will add, however, that the swallows did not win that bout.
The heron left when it was damn good and ready, thank you very much!)

Quite an interesting place for that little heron to hunt.
While one hates to anthropomorphize, there was a sense of his just wanting to tick the swallows off. 🙂
