Wordless Wednesday — Do you see what I see?

23 Jan

Do you see what I see?

They spent a lot of time there this weekend. Four or five altogether. I love seeing them. This is looking from my kitchen window, across my backyard (see the fence) and across the creek to the empty land behind us. It is unused except for the fact that the owners keep it mowed down. I dream of buying it someday and just keeping it empty. I’m sure that’ll be right after we win the lottery!

I saw the one on the left right away but took a few seconds to spot the two rumps on the right. Lucky you to watch them!

Just spent the afternoon up at UCSC visiting with former colleagues and dear friends. I had forgotten how the deer are everywhere up there. What a treat it was to see them all around my old workplace. I hope you do get to buy that piece of land, a perfect sanctuary for wildness. BTW–I expected to see some snow here on Wordless Wednesday.

Jayne, thanks. It’s been cool seeing them there for the last few days.

Lynne, that’s how it was in real life too. Hey a deer. Hey three deer, no four, no . . .

    Palofmine, Thanks for visiting!

Robin Andrea, I hope you’re right about the snow. None yet but our fringers are CROSSED!
